About the Calendar

In 2011 we held our annual photo contest open to everyone who had adopted animals from ACS over the last year.  Adopters were encouraged to submit pictures of their new family members for inclusion in this calendar.

We were thrilled with the response.  The top 12 entrants were selected by the Photo Contest Committee which consisted of ACS staff, volunteers, board members, and visitors.  These 12 are the featured animals for each month, as well as our cover dog, Triumph.  Runners-up also appear throughout the calendar as smaller photos.

Every single animal pictured in the calendar was once housed at ACS, and now lives in a forever home, as part of a family.  We are doing everything we can to expand our adoptions through adoption events, community outreach, and fundraisers, like this calendar.  You can make a difference by spreading the word about our adoption program and by donating anytime at www.animalcaresanctuary.org.
