Story Time!
Animal Care Sanctuary’s tails team up with Bradford County Library’s tales for Story Time! The first Animal Care Sanctuary (ACS) story time at the Bradford County Library was a huge success! On October 25th twenty children ages 2-4 listened & laughed as Erin Johnson, ACS Adoption Coordinator, read the tale of Walter the Farting Dog by William Kotzwinkle & Glenn Murray. This story was accompanied by a visit from Certified Therapy Dogs KiKi & Shae owned by Kellie Roberts ACS’ Canine Care Supervisor. Cuddling with kittens was next on the agenda, after hearing the story of Checky the Feral Cat by Anita Sutherland Millmann. These kittens, like Checky are looking for a home of their own and are available for adoption at ACS. Reading is absolutely fun. Everyone present enjoyed a superb day at the library with animal stories, animal friends and tasty cookies! Animal Care Sanctuary will be part of Story Time the third Tuesday of every month.
