The Power of Sanctuary and the Ride to Freedom!
Lincoln has their Power of Sanctuary slogan, so we’re bringing our own Power of Sanctuary to the table, too.
Your vehicle can be your sanctuary, and maybe even your escape to freedom. To rescued dogs around the world, a Freedom Ride is exactly what a vehicle is for.
Animal Care Sanctuary has helped rescue dogs from all over the globe, from local and regional rehoming to transports from the southern United States and even from dog meat farms in South Korea (we just got four more TODAY!). In fact, 584 cats and dogs had their Freedom Rides to and from Animal Care Sanctuary in 2020 alone.
These rides add up to countless volunteer and staff hours, and many more thousands of miles on the road. And as a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal rescue, these miles can prove quite costly. Lincoln by sharing this video and tagging them! We would love to work with them and together show how far-reaching and life-saving the Power of Sanctuary can be.
