Mary
O’Malley-Trumble

Mary is an IBM Global Sales Management Support Leader for IBM Watson Customer Engagement and the Senior Location Executive (SLE) for IBM Endicott. She manages a worldwide team of sales management professionals responsible for supporting sales success through analytics, insight, client experience and satisfaction.

As SLE, Mary oversees the management of the IBM Endicott site and represents IBM in the community. She is an advisor for the Binghamton University Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science and a member of the Binghamton University Forum. A 2015 graduate of the Broome Leadership Institute, Mary also serves as a board member for the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, the Cider Mill Playhouse, the Local Development Corporation (LDC) for Town of Union and the Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross, where she was recently named Board President.

Mary has 20 years of management experience. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts/Political Science from Regents College, State University of New York in Albany and a Masters of Business Administration from Binghamton University. She began her career at IBM Owego and held various administrative, financial and project management roles, and eventually served as lead for Navy Helo systems finance team. Mary has been extensively involved with forecasting, planning and operations throughout her career at IBM and Lockheed Martin.

Mary has a genuine love for animals, and concern for their health, happiness, and well being. She and her husband, John, are natives of the Southern Tier. Mary and John have two dogs that are the love of their lives (an adopted retired racing greyhound, Nola and a rat terrier, Theo. Her hobbies include golf and international travel.
